Notice of road closure: 16th Avenue at Yonge Street - May 4 to 6

Please be advised that 16th Avenue will be closed at the Yonge Street intersection from 8 p.m. on Friday, May 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 6. This closure is to facilitate gas main installation related to the vivaNext Yonge Street rapidway construction. Work will be taking place 24 hours a day.
Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians around the closure.

Elgin West Pool Closure May 14 - 18

Elgin West Pool will be closed from Monday. May 14 to Friday, May 18 to replace our compressor.
We will be extending swimming lessons by one week and all swims will be cancelled during the week of closure.

Nine York Region festivals, including Richmond Hill's CosmoFEST, get funding boost
Richmond Hill’s Cosmo Music is receiving $75,900 in government funding to support the 2018 CosmoFEST.
Richmond Hill MPP Reza Moridi paid a visit to the business located on Via Renzo Drive to announce the province’s support of festivals and events, like the one in Richmond Hill, to boost a growing tourism sector, create jobs and offer Ontario residents and tourists more reasons to discover and explore the province.
