Richmond Hill Council Votes Unanimously to Pass Cannabis By-law
RICHMOND HILL – A special meeting was held today where Richmond Hill Council voted to pass a new By-law. By-law 112-18 prohibits cannabis use in additional locations not covered by the provincial legislation and provides for a system of fines and adjudication.

Please be advised that Centre Street East will be closed between Newkirk Road and Pugsley Avenue on Friday, October 19, 2018 from approximately 8:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. The closure is necessary to facilitate emergency CN track repairs. Access will be maintained for local traffic on either side of the tracks. However, the rail crossing will be closed to vehicular traffic.

On July 15, 2016, Richmond Hill awarded the contract to build the Oak Ridges Library to Bondfield Construction Company Limited (the Contractor). Originally, the project was to be substantially completed by November 17, 2017. As a result of significant rain delays and other contractual issues, the substantial completion date was changed to March 28, 2018.

Summit adds to Richmond Hill data centre capacity
Summit Industrial Income REIT has announced it is extending a $16-million mezzanine loan to its partner Urbacon Montreal Limited Partnership to develop a new 95,000-square-foot data centre property (DC2) on land owned by Urbacon directly adjacent to the existing data centre (DC1) in Richmond Hill, Ont.
