Notice of Waste and Christmas Tree Collection Delay

Please be advised that due to the extreme weather, Thursday’s garbage, recycling and organics collection will be delayed in some neighbourhoods until Friday. If your waste was not collected today (January 15), please place it back at the curb before 7 a.m. and it will be collected tomorrow, Friday, January 16.
Please also note that the remaining Christmas tree collection days for the week of January 13 will be delayed until next Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23.

The City of Richmond Hill has been informed that two demonstrations are expected to take place on Saturday January 17, 2026 both at 12:00 p.m.

Richmond Hill – Richmond Hill is launching an online Property Tax Customer Portal to give property owners a simple, convenient and secure way to manage their property tax accounts.
