Richmond Hill – The City of Richmond Hill is finalizing its Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Strategy, which will guide the City’s approach to implementing public EV charge stations at City-owned facilities like municipal buildings, parks, community centres, libraries and more.

New Indoor Pickleball Courts Open July 10

Elgin Barrow and Bond Lake Arenas serve up more ways to play this summer!
RICHMOND HILL – As part of a pilot project, additional indoor pickleball courts will be available starting July 10 at Elgin Barrow and Bond Lake Arenas.
- Elgin Barrow Arena – 5 courts (open until August 14)
- Bond Lake Arena – 6 courts (open until August 20)
- Hours: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., daily
Courts are free to use and operate like outdoor park spaces. No registration or sign-in is required.

Richmond Hill Invests in Local Arts and Culture with 26 New Grants for 2025

RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill is proud to support community groups, organizations and individuals working to enhance the city’s vibrancy and quality of life. As part of the 2025 Community and Cultural Grant program, Council has approved funding for 26 initiatives, totaling $99,878.
