City Hosting Free BBQ and Other Events for the 55+ Community
RICHMOND HILL, ON – In recognition and celebration of our growing Adult 55+ population in Richmond Hill, the City is excited to host a number of in-person events throughout Seniors Month in June.

The City will be conducting the following maintenance on municipal roads, sidewalks and parking lots throughout Richmond Hill from now until October 31, 2022 (weather permitting):
- Hot mix asphalt patching on roads
- Crack sealing on roads
- Sanitary manhole, storm manhole, water valve chamber and catch basin repair
- Sidewalk repair
- Pavement markings/line painting on roads and in facility parking lots

Storm Cleanup and Facility Closures Update

The heavy wind and rain that passed through the region on Saturday (May 21) caused extensive tree damage and power outages throughout Richmond Hill.
Tree Cleanup
City crews are continuing with cleanup, but it is going to take some time. Our priority is clearing fallen trees and debris from roads, sidewalks and blocked driveways. Crews will then move on to clearing trees and debris from boulevards, parks and trails.
