Request for Public Comment - Park Name

Council is requesting public comment in accordance with the City’s Policy for Naming and Renaming City Parks, Open Space and Recreation Facilities.
The City of Richmond Hill is proposing to name a future park within the park and natural heritage system as follows:
William Duncan Park(located on Northern Heights Drive, south of 16th Avenue)

Notice of Road Disruption: Bathurst Street, Major Mackenzie Drive to Elgin Mills Road

Please be advised road restrictions are scheduled for Bathurst Street, Major Mackenzie Drive to Elgin Mills Road from approximately mid-June to spring 2023.
Traffic control will be in place.
The northbound curb lane of Bathurst Street will be intermittently impacted throughout the project as crews advance work from Major Mackenzie Drive West to Elgin Mills Road West.
Intermittent lane reductions will occur on the following roads and intersections during construction:
- Mill Street
- Regent Street
Temporary lane closure: Major Mackenzie Drive West at Don Head Village Boulevard

Lane reductions will occur on Major Mackenzie Drive West at the Don Head Village Boulevard intersection from Tuesday, June 7, 2022 to Thursday, June 9, 2022 to allow construction activities for the installation of the Major Mackenzie Drive West watermain.
Eastbound lanes will be closed and traffic will be diverted into westbound lanes during this time. Through traffic in each direction will be maintained.

Public Notice: Community Benefit Charge

Richmond Hill City Council will hold a Council meeting on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
This meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with participants able to join in-person in Council Chambers at 225 East Beaver Creek Rd. or electronically by telephone or video conference.
