Join us March 12 for a Virtual Information Session
RICHMOND HILL – Applications are open for the 2024 Richmond Hill Community and Cultural Grants. If you are an individual or organization that is eager to host an event or develop a project to reflect the many cultural traditions or practices of Richmond Hill, we want to hear from you.
Every year Richmond Hill funds programs, projects and events across the city that showcase our city’s community’s spirit. Past projects have included concerts, art exhibitions, a youth-hosted charity basketball tournament, as well as the creation of a community garden.
Funding types
Grants of up to $5,000 are available in two streams:
- Community Projects – In areas such as social services and health, recreation and/or the environment.
- Cultural Projects – In areas such as the performing arts (theatre, dance, music), visual arts, literary media arts, textile, craft, heritage and/or community arts.
Applications are due April 3 and are evaluated through a committee (staff and citizens) based on criteria outlined in the program application and guidelines.
