Community Welcomed Back In Person To Council Meetings Starting March 22
Hybrid Model Gives Choice to Participate In Person or Online
RICHMOND HILL – Effective March 22, 2022, members of the public will have the option to once again attend City of Richmond Hill Council meetings in person or continue to participate virtually online.
For anyone taking part in a delegation or public forum, there is the option of attending in person, electronically by video conference or by telephone. Any person who wishes to speak to Council on agenda items must pre-register with the Office of the Clerk by 12 p.m. the day before the meeting. Register by sending an email to clerks@RichmondHill.ca or by using the City’s online form.
The reopening of in-person meetings follows recent changes to public health orders, easing COVID-19 restrictions in the province, including mask requirements and lifting capacity limits.
Council meetings are held at the main Municipal Offices (225 East Beaver Creek Road). Visit our website for more information on City Council meetings, including a calendar of upcoming meeting dates. Stream Council meetings online via the City’s YouTube channel.
