Online survey open to Richmond Hill residents and businesses until September 21

RICHMOND HILL – In response to the changing landscape resulting from the COVID-19 emergency and with a view on future planning, Richmond Hill Council is developing a new strategic plan to ensure the City is focused on meeting the evolving needs of the community over the next two years.

Recognizing the challenges faced by residents and businesses throughout the pandemic, Council, alongside City staff, have worked to minimize the financial impacts on the community and support the local economy while keeping health and safety at the forefront. The 2020-2022 strategic plan will outline priorities for the remainder of this Council term and establish a vision for the City to help Richmond Hill not only recover, but thrive.

Council is inviting all Richmond Hill residents and businesses to provide input into the plan through a short, online survey now available at RichmondHill.ca/StrategicPlan. The survey runs until September 21. 

The final plan is expected to be presented at a public Council meeting before the end of the year.
