Flags at half-mast – National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. It has been over 30 years since the murder of 14 women at Polytechnique Montréal (December 6, 1989). Flags at all Richmond Hill facilities have been lowered to half-mast today to remember these women, their families and others who have experienced gender-based violence.
