Grants up to $90,000 Available for Richmond Hill Downtown Properties (Apply by April 30, 2019)

For a limited time, additional Community Improvement Plan (CIP) funding is available to benefit small businesses and support community improvements in Downtown Richmond Hill.  

• Building Renovation Grant provides a cost-shared grant of up to 90% of eligible costs or a maximum of $90,000 for building renovations resulting in the creation of new office space within the Downtown Local Centre properties
• Façade Improvement, Landscape and Signage Grant provides a cost-shared grant of up to 90% of eligible costs of projects ranging in value from $1,800 to $45,000 that are related to the revitalization of the Downtown BIA properties  
  
  

* Apply by April 30, 2019.  Projects must be completed by March 31, 2020.  

How to Apply

To apply, please fill out and email your completed CIP Grant Application Form along with your supporting documents (project description, drawings, etc.) to planning@richmondhill.ca. After receiving your documents, staff will contact you regarding the next steps. Please refer to the CIP Grant Application Guide and the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) to help you with your application regarding grant program details, eligibility and submission requirements.
