Richmond Hill –The City of Richmond Hill is reviewing its existing Zoning By-laws to develop a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law that will carry out the policies and vision of the City’s Official Plan.

The new Comprehensive Zoning By-law will be:

• user friendly, easy to administer, enforce and understand;
• reflective of current and emerging planning and development practices and trends; and,
• fully accessible online in an interactive format.

Richmond Hill is hosting an in-person Open House for residents to discuss the proposed approach and to listen to their ideas on zoning strategy focusing on:

• City-wide parking and loading requirements
• Neighbourhoods
• Yonge and 16th/Carrville Key Development Area
• Newkirk Local Centre
• Oak Ridges Local Centre
• Village Local Centre
