Weather conditions that may bring 40 to 70 millimetres of rainfall in Richmond Hill and the Greater Toronto Area is expected through Saturday, May 6, 2017. Please note the following information: 

• We have closed our sports fields for the weekend and will be reassessing their condition early next week. Field permit holders have been advised.

• Please stay clear of water courses such as Mill Pond, Lake Wilcox, trails systems and parks and open spaces that are adjacent to streams, valley lands and flood plains. 

• Be aware of pooling water on roadways and exercise caution while driving.
