A community flag-raising will take place tomorrow (Thursday, February 5, 2026) at 6 p.m. at Richmond Green Sports Centre and Park (1300 Elgin Mills Road East). Higher‑than‑usual attendance is expected.

Residents, visitors and businesses may experience traffic delays, temporary road closures and increased congestion in the area during the event.

To support the event, one of the parking lots at Richmond Green will be closed to the public. Visitors are encouraged to use alternative parking areas within the park.
