July Heats Up in Richmond Hill with Live Entertainment
Concerts in the Park, LIVE! In the Plaza, Ribfest back for the 2023 season!
RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill is gearing up to celebrate summer with a series of free outdoor entertainment events for the entire community to enjoy! From outdoor concerts to a weekend of fall-off the-bone ribs, the City is offering a variety of fun things for all ages to see and do this month.
What’s On
- Concerts in the Park – Thursdays, 7-9 p.m.
Grab your blankets and camp chairs for evenings of live music at Mill Pond Park. This month’s lineup features the Caverners – Beatles Tribute (July 6), Desire – U2 Tribute (July 13), Beach Party Boys (July 20) and the Hip Experience (July 27). Nearby parking is limited. Concert-goers are encouraged to walk or cycle to the concert. Attendees can leave their bike at the bike valet booths.
- Retro Ribfest – Friday, July 21 – Sunday, July 23
Join us at Richmond Green Park as professional rib teams from across North America cook and compete for various best titles (decided by honorary judges). This year’s “retro” theme features a variety of fun contests, activities, a vintage sale and live entertainment with a throwback to decades from the 1960s up to the ‘90s! - LIVE! In the Plaza – Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m.
Enjoy a range of musical genres Tuesday nights and Open Mic nights Wednesdays on the outdoor plaza at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.
