Make the Holidays Brighter for Someone in Need
Richmond Hill’s 2023 Holiday Donation Drive – December 1-15
RICHMOND HILL – This holiday season, make a difference in someone’s life and spread some cheer by donating to Richmond Hill’s annual Holiday Donation Drive.
From December 1-15, drop off your non-perishable food items, new toys (no stuffed animals, please), books, gift cards, toiletries and new clothing for children and teenagers to Richmond Hill’s Main Municipal Offices, select Community Centres and Arenas, Libraries (Central and Oak Ridges), Operations Centre or Fire Stations.
All food donations go directly to the Richmond Hill Food Bank, a local non-profit organization assisting those in need in our community. The Salvation Army, Yellow Brick House, and York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families receive all toys, toiletries, clothing and other non-food items collected.
Most urgently needed items (as of Nov. 2023) include crackers; dinner mixes (noodles or rice); soups; small jars of instant coffee; baking items (cake and muffin mixes); flour; tinned pasta; boxes of cereal; small jars of jam or honey; baked beans in tomato sauce; mustard, ketchup and other condiments; size 6 diapers; and feminine hygiene pads.
Working together, we can make a difference for those in need in our community. For more information, visit RichmondHill.ca/DonationDrive.
