RICHMOND HILL – Sadly, this weekend Richmond Hill experienced a tragic loss – the first COVID-19 related death in our community. On behalf of all Members of Council, I offer our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the Richmond Hill resident who passed away. 

Unfortunately, this terrible news underlines why we all need to continue taking action to help keep Richmond Hill safe and stop the spread of this devastating virus. Please stay home as much as you can and if you must go into our community, keep a safe distance of 2 metres from others. 

Your actions can save lives and will have a real impact on our fight against COVID-19. Please – do it for yourself, your family, your neighbours and our entire community.
