Richmond Hill – On April 18 Mayor David West delivered his 2023 State of the City Address at the Richmond Hill Board of Trade Mayor’s Luncheon and Member Showcase.  

The address focused on Richmond Hill’s future, highlighting City projects and plans that will ensure the community continues to evolve and thrive. These include the City’s Land Acknowledgement and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy, Official Plan Update, development of the Strategic Plan 2023-2027, finalizing the Richmond Hill Centre Secondary Plan, and welcoming the Yonge North Subway Extension.

In addition, the Mayor also highlighted ongoing work to support our commitment to protecting the environment, embracing technological advances and revitalizing historic park spaces for current and future generations to enjoy.
