The City of Richmond Hill has received the following application under the Planning Act:

A request has been received from NORTH ELGIN CENTRE INC. to amend the Zoning By-law for the lands described as Part of Lots 12 and 13, Plan 2766 and Block 31, and Part of Block 30, Plan 65M-2819, City of Richmond Hill and municipally known as 10993, 10995, 10997, 10999, 11001, 11003, 11005 and 11007 Yonge Street. The applicant is proposing to rezone the subject lands from Key Development Area (KDA) Holding Zone and Open Space (O) overlay Zone under By-law 111-17, as amended, to Key Development Area (KDA) Zone under By-law 111-17, as amended, with site specific development standards, to permit two (2) high density mixed-use buildings, 18 and 24 storeys in height, with 632 dwelling units,1,581.8 square metres of non-residential gross floor area, 44,311.4 square metres of total gross floor area, a Floor Space Index of 3.88, and 373 parking spaces.
The purpose of this notice is to advise the public that a “complete” development application has been received by the City of Richmond Hill pursuant to the Planning Act. The application has been circulated to City departments and external agencies for review and comment. A Council Public Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.
