The City of Richmond Hill has received the following application under the Planning Act:

A request has been received from SUNCOR ENERGY PRODUCTS PARTNERSHIP to amend the Zoning By-law for lands described as Part of Lots 1 and 2, Plan 1923 and municipally known as 9550 Yonge Street. The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment application is to permit a restaurant use and to increase the permitted maximum gross floor area on the subject lands to facilitate the expansion of the existing gas station to include a commercial building that contains a restaurant with a drive-through facility. The development proposal also includes various site alterations to the fueling stations, parking, landscaping, and servicing on the subject lands.

The purpose of this notice is to advise the public that a “complete” development application has been received by the City of Richmond Hill pursuant to the Planning Act. The application has been circulated to City departments and external agencies for review and comment. A Council Public Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.
