A revised Official Plan Amendment application and a new Zoning By-law Amendment application have been submitted by Parkway Hotels and Convention Centre Inc., 650 Hwy 7 East Inc., and 9005 Leslie Street Inc. to amend the Official Plan and the Zoning By-law for lands described as Part of Blocks 1 and 7, Registered Plan 65M-2287 and Part of Lot 11, Concession 3, E.Y.S. and municipally known as 600, 650 and 670 Highway 7 East and 9005 and 9009 Leslie Street. The applications propose to permit a high-density mixed-use development comprised of eight (8) towers ranging from 39 to 49 storeys in height, with six (6) storey podium buildings, a total of 3,773 dwelling units, 288,504.8 square metres (3,105,439.83 square feet) of proposed residential gross floor area and 4,938.2 square metres (53,154.34 square feet) of proposed retail space with a total gross floor area of 328,879.7 square metres (3,540,031.62 square feet) and a Floor Space Index of 6.51, inclusive of the existing retail and hotel/conference centre on the subject lands.
The purpose of this notice is to advise the public that the revised and new “complete” development applications have been received by the City of Richmond Hill pursuant to the Planning Act. The applications have been circulated to City departments and external agencies for review and comment. A Council Public Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.
