The City of Richmond Hill will be conducting major maintenance works at the Rothbury stormwater management facility located on Rothbury Road just south of Laredo Drive. The construction area is outlined in red on the map.

The works are being conducted to remove accumulated sediment and correct component deficiencies. The stormwater facility works will help mitigate flooding, erosion, improve water quality and will increase the protection of the natural environment.

Construction is expected to begin during the last week of March and take approximately two months to complete. Please note that the trail around the stormwater facility will be closed for the length of construction.
