TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of The Corporation of the City of Richmond Hill adopted at its meeting of November 13, 2024, the following Development Charges By-laws in accordance with the Development Charges Act, 1997:

113-24  - To Amend By-Law 7-24, Respecting City-wide Development Charges for Public Works, as Amended
114-24  - To Amend By-Law 8-24, Respecting City-wide Development Charges for Fire Protection Services, as Amended
115-24  - To Amend By-Law 9-24, Respecting City-wide Development Charges for Parks and Recreation Services, as Amended
116-24  - To Amend By-Law 10-24, Respecting City-wide Development Charges for Library Services, as Amended
117-24  - To Amend By-Law 11-24, Respecting Development Charges for the Bayview North East Development Area, as Amended
118-24  - To Amend By-Law 12-24, Respecting Development Charges for the Headford Excluding Storm Development Area, as Amended

Any individual or organization may appeal the By-laws to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal under Section 14 of the Development Charges Act by filing with the City Clerk of the City of Richmond Hill a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons supporting the objection. The last day to make an appeal is December 23, 2024.

The Development Charges By-laws cover services that benefit all residents of the City of Richmond Hill and services that provide benefit to particular planning areas. The City-wide Development Charges By-laws covers all lands in the City, and each Area Specific Development Charges By-laws covers specific lands relevant to the area.
