Notice of Intention to Amend Building By-law 55-19, Building Permit Fees

The City of Richmond Hill will consider amendments to the Building By-law 55-19, including changes to the fees charged for building permits.

The Committee of the Whole meeting will take place on Wednesday February 21, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Council Chambers, 225 East Beaver Creek Road, Richmond Hill, Ontario. 

To appear as a delegate for the Committee meeting, applications are accepted until 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before the meeting.   Written comments can also be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk by 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before the meeting via email to clerks@richmondhill.ca.

Information outlining the proposed fee changes, the rationale for those changes, including the costs of administering and enforcing the Building Code Act, will be provided at no cost to any person who makes a request through the Building Division at building@richmondhill.ca.
