Please be advised the Elizabeth Street, between Arnold Crescent and Richmond Street, will be closed from: 

Wednesday, August 5 to Friday, August 16, 2026.

This closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of new watermain infrastructure, by Direct Underground Inc. This work is essential to improving the long-term reliability of municipal services while maintaining the safety of workers and the public throughout construction.

During the road closure, access for emergency vehicles and local traffic within the affected area will be maintained. All other motorists are required to follow the designated detour routes via Major Mackenzie Drive and Yonge Street.

Please note that the road closure on Arnold Crescent between Major Mackenzie Drive and Elizabeth Street remains in effect. There will be no through access via Arnold Crescent.
