Richmond Hill – The City of Richmond Hill will hold a series of public events in the coming months to provide the community with opportunities to learn about various topics related to the Official Plan Update. The purpose of this update is to ensure conformity with current provincial directions. The City’s Official Plan aims to support long-term sustainable city-building, respond to climate change and create a balance of jobs and residents in the community.

• Improving Livability in Our Community—PMTSAs and Corridors (PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE)

  Protected Major Transit Station Areas (PMTSA) help create vibrant, connected communities where people can live, work and easily access services. They also promote healthy lifestyles through active transportation like walking and cycling. Join us in person or virtually to learn more about Richmond Hill’s PMTSAs and corridors and the City’s Official Plan to support transit and active transportation to help our community thrive.
