Pretty Plants, Practical Prices
Online garden sale returns April 16
RICHMOND HILL – Calling all Richmond Hill green thumbs — this is your chance to create a beautiful, eco-friendly garden at a low cost!
Starting April 16 at 8:30 a.m., residents can pre‑order native trees, shrubs, wildflower kits, rain barrels, and composters during the Healthy Yards Plant and Garden Sale. But don’t wait — quantities are limited and popular items sell out quickly!
Why go native?
Native plants are perfectly suited to Richmond Hill’s climate, meaning less watering, less maintenance, and a happier, healthier yard. Plus, they support local pollinators like bees and butterflies.

Choose from a fantastic selection, including, but not limited to:
- Trees: Eastern Redbud, Tulip Tree, White Pine
- Shrubs: Fragrant Sumac, Northern Bush Honeysuckle, Pasture Rose
