Public Open House: Humber Flats Stormwater Management Facility EA
The City of Richmond Hill is conducting an environmental assessment to determine the best means of rehabilitating the Humber Flats Stormwater Management Facility.
This facility is part of the tributary to the East Humber River. The study has evaluated a range of options to determine the best solutions to improve the hydraulic conditions of the area and reduce the number of residential properties in the regional floodplain while maintaining the stormwater management function of the facility.
The recommended rehabilitation solutions have been developed and will be available for review and public input at an Open House, as follows:
Date: Wednesday, May 31, 2023
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
Location: Oak Ridges Library, 34 Regatta Avenue (Meeting Room 1 and 2)
The purpose of the Open House is to provide an overview of the project, present solutions and next steps. Representatives from the City of Richmond Hill and the consulting team will be available at the Open House to discuss any issues or concerns you may have, and receive information for consideration in the study.
If you are unable to attend the in-person event, you will have a chance to view the proposed solutions and provide feedback between May 31 and June 18, 2023 by visiting the project webpage.
