The City of Richmond Hill is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Study to determine the best means of rehabilitating Mill Pond, the Heritage Estates Stormwater Facility and valleyland erosion sites north and south of Mill Pond. The study area is shown in the key map. The study has evaluated a number of options to determine the best rehabilitation solution to improve water quality, and mitigate erosion and flooding in the area. The preferred rehabilitation solutions have been developed and will be available for review and public input at an Open House as follows:

The purpose of the Open House is to provide an overview of the project, present solutions and next steps. Representatives from the City of Richmond Hill and the consulting team will be available at the Open House to discuss any issues or concerns you may have, and receive information for consideration in the study.
