Public Open House: Mill Street Altamira Road Drainage Investigation
The City has conducted a drainage investigation of the current stormwater conditions along Mill Street and Altamira Road and the affected residential properties. The study area boundary is shown in the map. This investigation was prepared because of significant flooding on some residential properties resulting from a major storm that took place in August 2020. Alternative solutions were explored to address these flooding concerns and a preferred solution has been identified.
A Virtual Public Open House pre-recorded presentation is available for viewing to provide members of the public with an opportunity to learn about the study findings, learn about the alternative solutions explored, review the preferred solution selected and provide comments.
Watch the 10 minute pre-recorded presentation and provide your comments! Tell us what you think of the recommended solution for the project between September 19, 2022 and October 7, 2022. The presentation will provide:
- An introduction to the project and existing conditions
- An overview of study findings
- A summary of the alternative solutions developed and the selection of the preferred solution
