RICHMOND HILL – Results for the 2024 York Region District School Board Trustee By-election are now available on RichmondHill.ca.  

The Term of Office ends on November 14, 2026.

The 2024 York Region District School Board Trustee By-election Official Results are as follows: Robert Kolosowski (elected), 1,473 votes; Danny Yoon, 185 votes; Sadra Nasseri, 166 votes; Susan Joseph, 104 votes; Sarah Mian, 81 votes; Ali Nikjoo, 72 votes; Peter Adams-Luchowski, 60 votes; Bi Ying Lam, 57 votes; and Dennis Bailey, 23 votes.

The results show 2,228 votes in the York Region District School Board Trustee (Wards 1, 2 and 4) By-election, marking a 5.4% voter turnout. 

By-election results were certified by City Clerk and Returning Officer Stephen M.A. Huycke on July 16.
