Richmond Hill at Collision - Recap

The Collision conference was a great success last week! The event brought over 25,000 attendees, 450 speakers, 500 investors, and 1,000 startups from over 120 countries. It is deemed the fastest-growing tech conference in North America!

The City of Richmond Hill was honored to exhibit at the York Region Tech Experience Pavilion alongside innovative Richmond Hill companies such as Laipac Technology Inc. and ForaHealthyMe Inc. We also had the recipient of 2018 Richmond Hill Innovators of the Year Awards, Wysdom.AI's CEO Ian Collins, speak on Collision’s growth stage about the future of conversational AI as a service.  

Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business and Export Promotion, and Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development also dropped by the YRTech Experience Pavilion. During the three days, thousands of people were exposed to Richmond Hill and learned that we are home to disruptive innovation.
