Richmond Hill Celebrates Seniors in June
Join us for the 55+ Barbecue, Ice Cream Social and more
RICHMOND HILL – Every year, the City of Richmond Hill celebrates seniors and the significant contributions they make to our community.
Our Seniors’ Month celebrations kick off on June 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Mill Pond Park with the City’s annual Adults 55+ Barbecue! All Richmond Hill residents aged 55+ are invited to join us for fun and entertainment featuring The Randy Starr Band. We will also be recognizing the Ontario Senior of the Year Award 2024 recipient.
Other activities and events planned for the month include the:
- Ice Cream Social on June 19 at 1 p.m. at the Oak Ridges Community Centre. Enjoy an ice cream cone and views of the Lake Wilcox while being entertained.
- Computer Technology Volunteer 25th Anniversary on June 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the McConaghy Centre. Join us to celebrate over two decades of learning about computers.
- 55+ Choir Spring Concert on June 9 at 2 p.m. in the McConaghy Centre. Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment by the McConaghy Centre Choir conducted by Jessica V. Kun. Open to all ages.
