Richmond Hill Celebrates Youth Week May 1-7
RICHMOND HILL – Each year, National Youth Week celebrates youth and their participation in the community. Richmond Hill’s 2023 event is coordinated in collaboration with the City’s Youth Action committee and features an array of activities that celebrate arts, sports and recreation programs. Richmond Hill residents aged 12 to 18 are invited to participate in this year’s Youth Week, May 1-7.
Some activities planned for the week include:
- 3-on-3 Outdoor Basketball: Join your peers and program staff for a mini game of 3-on-3 basketball
- DJ Workshop: An introductory workshop that explores technical aspects such as mixing, scratching and use of equipment
- Games Night: Join Youth Action Committee members for an evening of fun and prizes with games like Codenames, skribbl.io, chess and more
- Adapted Archery: An introduction to the fundamental skills of archery with step-by-step instructions on proper techniques
- Virtual Race Around the Hill: Join us virtually as a team and compete in various online challenges and race to beat the clock and win prizes
