Richmond Hill has a New Skating Partner
City and Desjardins Insurance team up to provide free skating for the community
RICHMOND HILL – A new two-year partnership between the City of Richmond Hill and Desjardins Insurance offers the community additional opportunities to lace up their skates and glide through the winter season.
Desjardins Insurance will be the presenting sponsor for the next two winters at the City’s unique and popular Richmond Green Skate Trail that opened for the season last week. This sponsorship will also include new free ‘Learn to Skate’ mini-lessons at the Skate Trail, which will be posted in the New Year at RichmondHill.ca/Skating.
Throughout the holidays and New Year, Desjardins Insurance will be presenting a number of free indoor skates, including:
- December 27: Bond Lake Arena from 4:30 - 6 p.m.
- December 28: Ed Sackfield Arena from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
- January 3: Tom Graham Arena from 3:15 - 4:45 p.m.
- January 4: Ed Sackfield Arena from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
