Richmond Hill Receives Clean Audit
RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill’s clean audit of its 2018 financial statements reflect the City’s good financial position and fiscal responsibility.
Grant Thornton LLP, Richmond Hill’s auditor, issued an “unqualified audit opinion” on the City of Richmond Hill’s 2018 consolidated financial statements at the July 3 meeting of the Audit Committee. This means the City’s financial statements fairly represent the financial position of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
The annual external audit of financial processes and results is a legislative requirement.
