Council Approves 10-Year Plan to Grow and Enhance the City’s Parks System
Richmond Hill – Richmond Hill Council has endorsed the City’s plan to guide parkland needs and acquisition, inform outdoor recreation facility planning and enhance its parks for all to enjoy.

- update and redesign destination and community parks
- apply a climate change lens to the development and redevelopment of parks, including by planting more native species, enhancing tree canopies and establishing pollinator and rain gardens
