The City of Richmond Hill is devastated to learn of the injury of one of the City’s crossing guards, who was struck by a vehicle while working to protect the residents of Richmond Hill.

Our crossing guards are our neighbours, parents and grandparents. They come from every part of our community and are the face of our public service. Our hearts are with all of the affected families who have been devastated by this tragedy.

We remain committed to working with York Regional Police and the Ministry of Labour in their investigation into the incident.
