Live entertainment returns with Concerts in the Park, LIVE in the Plaza, Ribfest
RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill’s annual Summer Series kicks off this month with free outdoor entertainment events for the entire community to enjoy! From live music to a weekend of fall-off the-bone ribs, the City is offering a variety of fun things for all ages to see and do this month.
Summer Series July Events
- Concerts in the Park at Mill Pond – Thursdays, 7-9 p.m.
Presented by Tim Hortons, July’s toe-tapping tunes include music by Beach Party Boys – Beach Boys Tribute (July 4), Fabulous Knockouts – Oldies Rock n Roll (July 11), Trilogy – Styx & Foreigner (July 18), and Groove Marmalade – Motown (July 25). Concert-goers are encouraged to walk or cycle to the concert as nearby parking is limited. Attendees can leave their bike at the bike valet booth.
- Retro Ribfest at Richmond Green – Friday, July 19 – Sunday, July 21
Our annual mouthwatering, finger licking Ribfest returns with delicious ribs (and other food!), fun contests, activities and a line up of musical entertainment that spans the decades! Join us at Richmond Green as professional rib teams from across North America cook and compete for various best titles (decided by honorary judges).
- LIVE in the Plaza – Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m.
Presented by Wilson-Niblett, enjoy a range of musical genres Tuesday nights and Open Mic nights Wednesdays in the outdoor plaza at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.
