Summer’s Heating Up with Concerts, Movies and a Drive-thru Ribfest
The City of Richmond Hill comes to life this summer with an assortment of outdoor concerts and movies under the stars for residents to enjoy. Our annual favourite Ribfest is also back this year in a safe, drive-thru format.
What’s On
- Concerts in the Parking Lot
Back for a second season, our drive-in concert series starts July 15 at the Richmond Hill GO station parking lot. Join us Thursday nights July through September from 7-8:15 p.m. for a variety of performances, including the Legends (tributes to Frankie Vallie, Engelbert Humperdinck and Roy Orbison), Exodus – Tribute to Bob Marley, Richmond Hill’s Got Talent and more. Spots are filling up fast so register early. - Drive-Thru Ribfest
Registration is now open for our Drive-Thru Ribfest on July 23-25. Rib-lovers from near and far are invited to join us for the same tasty signature menu in a drive-thru format at Elgin Barrow Arena. From ribs and chicken to pulled pork, corn bread, beans and coleslaw, we’ve got your cravings covered! Browse the menu online and book a time slot to pick up your favourites to enjoy at home. - Drive-In Movies
Take your family to a pop-up drive-in theatre and enjoy a movie under the stars. Registration opens August 9 for The Incredibles (August 23) and The Incredibles 2 (August 30). Additional movies are scheduled for September. Note, location to be announced.
