Richmond Hill Council Congratulates His Majesty The King

RICHMOND HILL – The Coronation of His Majesty The King alongside Her Majesty The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Richmond Hill Mayor David West and Members of Council, on behalf of the City of Richmond Hill, congratulate His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort on this historic event. 

The May 6, 2023 coronation is the first of a Canadian Head of State and Monarch in seven decades, since Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953.

His Majesty The King was born at Buckingham Palace on November 14, 1948. He is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
