RICHMOND HILL – The celebrations don’t end after Canada Day – summer in Richmond Hill is just getting started! From live music, family-friendly festivals and soccer viewing parties to fun nights under the stars, there are plenty of ways to make the most of July close to home. 

Concerts in the Park – Thursdays, 7-9 p.m. at Mill Pond Park
Presented by Tim Hortons, join us for this fan-favourite summer concert series featuring a lineup of tribute bands and live performances that will have you singing along all night. Bring a lawn chair and settle in for a relaxed night with family and friends.

Retro Ribfest – July 17-19 at Richmond Green Park
Get ready for three days of smoky, saucy goodness! Our Retro Ribfest is back with professional ribbers from across North America, live music, contests and activities, plus a family-friendly Fun Zone. Whether you’re there for the ribs, the music or the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Come hungry and enjoy one of the city’s most popular summer traditions. 

Watch Party: Team Canada vs. Morocco – July 4 at Dave Barrow Civic Square
Team Canada’s incredible FIFA World Cup 2026™ run continues! Join fellow fans at Dave Barrow Civic Square (1 Atkinson Street) to cheer them on the big screen as they take on Morocco. Event starts at 12 p.m. with kick-off at 1 p.m. Wear your red and white, bring a lawn chair or blanket, come prepared for the heat and get ready to show your Canadian pride. 

Watch Party Final Match – July 19 inside Richmond Green Sports Centre
Catch the final match of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ on the big screen inside the Richmond Green Sports Centre. Seating is limited, so bring a lawn chair or blanket. Arrive early to take part in pre-match activities. Doors open at 2 p.m. 

Live in the Plaza – Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m.
Presented by Wilson-Niblett, listen to live music on Tuesday nights and take to the stage yourself during Open Mic Wednesdays at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts outdoor plaza. Bring a friend, grab a seat and enjoy live entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting. Performances begin July 7.
