RICHMOND HILL – Beginning today, Richmond Hill’s Operations Centre (1200 Elgin Mills Road East) will re-open with modified hours for blue box, green bin, kitchen catcher and garbage tag purchases and exchanges.
Purchase prices for garbage tags (sold in sets of five) and new waste bins are available online. A new exchange fee of $7.35 (plus HST) will apply to replace damaged or broken Richmond Hill-labelled blue boxes and green bins to help offset replacement costs. Payment must be made by Interac...
Public Service Announcement - School Zone, Overnight and 3 Hour Maximum Parking Enforcement Returns September 8

RICHMOND HILL – In response to the needs of residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Richmond Hill temporarily suspended the enforcement of a number of parking restrictions.
As the community gradually re-opens and children return to school, these restrictions will begin to be enforced again.
Effective September 8, 2020:
- All parking regulations are back in effect in school zones, including Monday to Friday restrictions on stopping, parking and standing within 500 metres of schools
Lane Closure Notice: East Beaver Creek

Please be advised that the two northbound lanes on East Beaver Creek Road will be closed from just north of Highway 7 to York Boulevard starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 until Monday, August 24 at 5 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic going southbound will still be permitted.
The road closure is necessary to facilitate a valve replacement.
