Enjoy live music, portraits, art and cultural performances on Sunday, September 20 

RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill is excited to welcome the community at the 2026 ArtWalk, a one-day celebration of local artists and artisans featuring one-of-a-kind handcrafted creations, live music and vibrant culture. Join us anytime from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 20 at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts (10268 Yonge Street) and explore the heart of local creativity. Admission is free. 

As part of Ontario Culture Days, ArtWalk transforms the City’s theatre into a vibrant indoor and outdoor marketplace featuring nearly 50 talented local creators and artisans showcasing an array of unique handcrafted works – paintings, pottery, jewelry, woodwork and much more. Visitors can enjoy live music by the Richmond Hill Concert Band and take part in free, family-friendly activities like custom pet portraits, temporary henna tattoos, and an interactive spray painting demonstration. Every purchase made at ArtWalk directly supports the local arts community, with 100 per cent of proceeds going to the artists and artisans themselves. 

New this year is the Toronto Women’s Dragon Drum Group, bringing an energetic Chinese drumming performance, followed by a chance for attendees to try their hand at drumming. Visitors can explore the newly opened Richmond Hill Cultural Centre down the street (10184 Yonge Street) during ArtWalk from 1 to 4 p.m. to connect with exhibiting artists, Yue Gao and Irene YooKyung Cha and participate in a free drop-in mixed-media art activity with artist Vicky Talwar. 

Can't make it on Sunday, September 20? The work of participating ArtWalk artists will be showcased in the Visual Art Gallery located in the main lobby of the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts throughout September.
