The Transportation Master Plan is a comprehensive strategic plan that will support how people will travel in Richmond Hill over the next 30 years. The TMP establishes the City’s goals for all types of travel within the community, for current and future residents, whether they walk, bike, drive or take public transit. Its focus is on improving active modes of transportation and building better connections within the city through road improvements, new sidewalks, trails, cycling facilities, traffic signals and crossings.
The TMP was developed following the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment master planning process and with input from the community through extensive public consultation. Thank you to all those who participated and provided feedback.
