Canada eSports Arena, Midway, Contests and Fireworks Planned for July 1!

RICHMOND HILL –The City of Richmond Hill has a full day of entertainment ready to go for this year’s Canada Day, presented by Tim Hortons and funded in part by the Government of Canada. The event runs from 2-11 p.m. at Richmond Green, 1300 Elgin Mills Road East, with a fireworks display starting at 10 p.m. that will illuminate the sky! 

Bring your family and friends and enjoy exciting live performances, contests and midway. Food and drink concessions will also be available along with a licensed, outdoor patio. 

2024 Canada Day Line Up

• Main Stage
  Featuring entertainment for all ages, including Inka's Band, the always-popular Rubik’s cube contest, Logan Levi, Altered by Mom, and Joseph Robinson. This year's headliner, Montreal-born pop sensation Rêve, takes the stage at 8:45 p.m. 

• NEW! Canada eSports Arena
  New this year, the Richmond Green Sports Centre transforms for the day into the Canada eSports Arena, presented by Canada Computers & Electronics. Starting at 12 p.m., you won’t want to miss this full day of immersive technology, entertainment and competition. From the gaming newb to elite competitor, there will be something for all skill levels, ages and interests to discover. 

• Superior Events Midway
  Play all day in one of the region's largest Midways with a variety of mechanical and inflatable attractions. Individual tickets and unlimited ride wristbands are available for purchase, providing hours of family fun. 

• Community Corner
  Enjoy exhibitor booths, sports demonstrations and cultural performances located near the Wedding Gazebo. Pre-register online to take part in an array of contests, including a Canadian Trivia Challenge, O'Canada Singing Competition and more! 

• Art Exhibit at Boynton House
  Showcasing contemporary arts, crafts and local art organizations. Watch artist demonstrations, purchase one-of-a-kind art from established artists, undiscovered talents, art groups and organizations. 

• Fireworks at 10 p.m.
  Enjoy one of the region’s best pyro-musical fireworks displays, choreographed to a melody of songs by various Canadian artists. “Fireworks Viewing Areas” are indicated throughout the park for the best locations to watch the display.
