Three-day barbecue features mouth-watering food, entertainment and midway

RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill’s Summer Series continues to heat up with Ribfest, a three-day outdoor festival! Professional rib teams from across North America converge at Richmond Green Park (1300 Elgin Mills Road East) July 22 from 12 to 10 p.m., July 23 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and July 24 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to compete for various best titles (as decided by honorary judges).

What’s Planned

• Midway: Play all day in one of the Region’s largest midways with an array of rides, inflatables and carnival games. The midway offers something for all ages, including a low-impact play zone for toddlers. Individual tickets and Unlimited Ride Wristbands are available for purchase on site.
• Entertainment: Enjoy live music on the main stage, including Fiddlestix, Ontario’s premier fiddle rock show; Pop Hits LIVE, the ultimate pop tribute to Bruno Mars and Maroon 5; and littleSunday, delivering a natural blend of rock music like Big Wreck, Suzie McNeil, Honeymoon Suite, and more.
• Juicy Ribs and Other Food: Featuring five award-winning ‘ribbers’ renowned for their delectable, mouth-watering, fall-of-the- bone chicken and ribs along with a wide variety of other offerings including vegetarian.
