Partnership gives local startups an edge with priority access to Freshworks’ suite of support

RICHMOND HILL – The City of Richmond Hill is once again at the forefront of innovation and support for the local economy as the first municipality in Canada to partner with Freshworks for Startups.

Freshworks is a leading maker of cloud-based customer and employee engagement software. Companies such as Cisco, Netflix, Hugo Boss and Toshiba use Freshworks, which is trusted by more than 250,000 businesses across 150 countries. 

With this innovative partnership, Richmond Hill startups can receive $4000 in credits on the Freshworks suite of products and priority access to the Freshworks startup program including events, resources, workshops, mentoring and much more. Local startups should visit RichmondHill.ca/Startups to apply for this program.

This is one of the many economic development programs Richmond Hill has launched in 2020 to support the local economy. Business leaders and entrepreneurs can also benefit from:

• A dedicated business hotline available Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 905-771-5558
• The ShopHere in partnership with Digitalmainstreet.ca to help businesses optimize their online platform
• A Temporary Use By-law allowing restaurants and cafés to create or expand outdoor patio space
