Richmond Hill Partners with Local Canadian Tire Stores
Sponsorship supports recreation and culture in the community
RICHMOND HILL – You might have noticed recently Canadian Tire branding at Ed Sackfield Arena and Fitness Centre and Tom Graham Arena. Richmond Hill’s two local Canadian Tire stores have partnered with the City as part of their ongoing commitment to community recreation.
In addition to having their branding in the facilities, the stores, located at 250 Silver Linden Drive and 11720 Yonge Street, are also the “Presenting Partner” of the City’s Adventure Series, a recreation program that introduces children ages 6-13 to a variety of outdoor skills including orienteering, rock climbing, hiking, making fire and shelter building.
The multi-year sponsorship is an investment into supporting recreation and culture where the two store owners live with their families and run their businesses.
In addition, Canadian Tire will host some free indoor community public skates over the coming two winters. Refer to the public skate schedule available online at RichmondHill.ca/Skating for times and locations.
Community business sponsorships like this are one of many ways the City is working to enhance programs and services for residents. The City also welcomes local businesses to support City-run events and initiatives, and offers a wide range of innovative advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
