QUOTE
“Traffic safety is one of the top priorities for the community. We have heard this from our residents. The Traffic Safety and Operations Strategy sets out the ways we manage traffic on our roads and keep them safe for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists and other travellers and will introduce a variety of ways to address the issues and reduce speed in our neighbourhoods. It will give our professional staff a comprehensive set of tools to respond proactively to problem areas and concerns in the community in a consistent data-driven manner. It is important for the community to be aware of the new policies, programs and tools, so I encourage everyone to attend a public session to learn more. Together, we can improve road safety in Richmond Hill.”
